Designer Eyewear Prague

A calm place to discover glasses you'll want to wear every day.

At our optical studio in Střešovice, Prague 6, we curate handcrafted eyewear from independent designers and family-run ateliers across Europe. Every frame has a maker, a story and a reason for being here.

Book a time, or simply drop by.

We believe glasses are more than a visual aid. They are one of the most personal objects you wear, shaping how you see the world and how the world sees you.

Independent eyewear. A difference you can feel.

  • Geometric symbol representing the maker's signature and curated selection of eyewear from independent European ateliers, Vidím Pěkně Prague 6

    Independent ateliers

We seek out small workshops and independent eyewear makers who put their own name and reputation behind every frame. By working directly with these ateliers, we can offer collections that feel distinctive, personal and far removed from mass-produced eyewear.

  • Abstract graphic icon symbolising precision, time and the handcrafting process of eyewear frames at a designer optical studio

    Handcrafted

Handcrafting is ultimately about attention to detail. From shaping and polishing to hinge assembly and finishing, every step is carried out with care. The result is eyewear that feels balanced, comfortable and built to last.

  • Golden ratio and harmony symbol representing the choice of fine materials such as Mazzucchelli acetate and Japanese titanium, Vidím Pěkně Břevnov

    Fine materials

We choose materials known for their comfort, durability and character. Our collections feature renowned Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, celebrated for the richness of its colours, ultralight Japanese titanium from Fukui Prefecture, and refined surgical steel valued for its strength and subtlety.

Choosing glasses takes time.

Book a visit and explore the collection at your own pace. Together we will look at shapes, colours and proportions, discuss what suits your face and personal style, and help you narrow down the possibilities.

Some people leave with clear favourites. Others take a few days to think it over. Both are perfectly fine.

When you book, let us know you would like an English-speaking optician, and we will make sure one is there for your visit.

The journey to your new glasses

Choosing glasses with us is never a rushed purchase.

It is a thoughtful process shaped by time, attention and expert guidance. From the first conversation to the finished glasses, the journey usually takes one to two weeks.

1

First meeting

We begin with a conversation about your lifestyle, personal style and previous experience with glasses. This helps us understand what will truly suit you.

2

Eye care

We carefully measure your eyesight and explain the results clearly. If further examination is needed, our eye clinic is located right on site.

3

Finding the right frames

Based on our conversation, we select several frames that complement your face, style and visual needs.

4

Exploration and guidance

We introduce the people and workshops behind each frame, share our honest professional opinion and give you the space to choose at your own pace.

5

Your new glasses

Your lenses are fitted precisely to both the frame and your prescription. Once complete, we personally adjust the glasses and show you how to care for them properly.

We look forward to welcoming you in Střešovice.
